며칠 전, 서버의 과부하로 인해 로그인이 안되는 현상이 있었습니다.
서버에 의존하는 서비스는,
서버에 문제가 생기면 먹통이 되어 불편이 생기죠.
그래서 이번에 서버에 의존하는 방식을 버리고 구글의 클라우드 서비스를 이용하는 방식으로 변경했습니다.
여기까지는 이전 공지의 내용입니다.
노티나는 유료 구독서비스에요.
무료 사용자는 7일간 유료서비스의 일부를 체험하고
가입한지 7일이 지나면 구독을 해야
다른 서비스를 정상적으로 이용이 가능합니다.
위 이미지를 보시면,
무료기간 만료가 되면, 더 이상 푸시메시지를 전달하지 않는다고 적혀있죠?
하지만, 사용자분들께 혜택을 드리고자,
무료 사용자 분들도 계속해서 푸시 메시지를 전달해드렸어요~
그런데 7일이 지나고 계속 무료로 사용하시는 분들의
푸시 메시지가 1천만건이 넘게 DB에 쌓였어요 ㅠㅠ
서버 버전에서는, 이 용량이 비용에 영향을 주지않아서, 제가 감당할 수 있었는데 클라우드로 가면, 이 메시지가 모두 비용으로 저에게 돌아오게 됩니다.
그래서 어쩔 수 없이,
무료 사용자분들에게 제공했던
메시지 전달 서비스를 이번 앱 업데이트 이후에 막았습니다.
100명이 조금 안되는
유료 사용자분들에게 더 나은 서비스를 제공하기 위한
어쩔 수 없는 선택이었습니다.

A few days ago, there was an issue with logging in due to server overload.
Services that depend on servers always become unavailable when there is a problem with the server, causing inconvenience.
So this time, we abandoned the server-dependent method
and changed to using Google's cloud service.
This is the content of the previous notice.
Notina is a paid subscription service.
Free users can experience part of the paid service for 7 days,
and after 7 days of signing up, you must subscribe to
use other services normally.

If you look at the image above, it says that push messages will no longer be sent when the free period expires, right?
However, in order to provide benefits to users, we continued to deliver push messages to free users as well~
However, after 7 days, over 10 million push messages from users who continued to use the service for free were accumulated in the DB. ㅠㅠ
In the server version, this capacity did not affect the cost, so I could handle it,
but when I go to the cloud, all of these messages come back to me as a cost.
So, I had no choice but to
block the message delivery service that was provided to free users after this app update.
It was an inevitable choice to provide a better service to the few or so paid users.
